Crash Diet

Recommended Posts

Crash Diet is not a GNR song.

It's a West Arkeen song, with Axl on vocals.

It's part of a bigger pile of West Arkeen demos from around '85-'86, from which only the ones with GNR members on them were lifted and released on GNR bootlegs in the late 80's and early 90's.

Yes, other West Arkeen songs developped into GNR songs later on.  'Yesterdays', 'The Garden' and 'Bad Obsession' are all from that same batch of demos.

But no, they will never play 'Crash Diet', because it was never a GNR song to begin with.  It would be like GNR playing a song from Teddy Andreadis' solo album, just because some GNR members played on it.

Is this the reason why you don't play Motley Crue stuff with Sixx Am?
