Popular Post nikosgnr
Quote " Appetite For Destruction.. It was huge, man. Before PANTERA got a record deal, that album came out, and we covered just about every song on that record, man, and it was before that band blew up. We were such fans of the music. And it took that record about a year before it caught on, and then it caught on. Man, it's one of my all-time favorite records. To this day,[ the song] 'Welcome To The Jungle', you hear it in front of every football game, in front of [every] hockey game; it won't go away. And that's a great thing, man, when there's a song that has that kind of life. And then, of course, they're back doing it and they're touring. I saw them the other night at the big, gigantic [AT&T Stadium] here in Dallas, and I thought it was amazing. I would really love to see them be able to get [Steven] Adler [drums] back in the band and, of course, Izzy [Stradlin, guitar], but, you know, seeing Slash [guitar] and Axl [Rose, vocals] and Duff [McKagan] up there together was pretty amazing. And those songs… People go because they wanna hear those songs; those are some of the greatest rock songs ever. And I think I kind of equate it to when the people that were older than us came up with THE BEATLES or LED ZEPPELIN in the '70s; GUNS N' ROSES was that band for us. So I love that record, man. I've seen GUNS many, many times, and I'm telling you, man, this is the best, I think, I've ever seen Axl, man. He's really spot-on, and he's really singing great. And Slash doing his solo thing for so long, he's always had his chops up to par. So it's great to see those two really at their 'A' game with these songs again in 2016." http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/vinnie-paul-on-guns-n-roses-reunion-tour-this-is-the-best-i-think-ive-ever-seen-axl-rose/ Edited October 10, 2016 by nikosgnr

dontdamnmeuyi2015
when I first moved to Dallas every concert I went to, Vinnie Paul and Dimebag were there. They would come onstage and rock with the band. I actually meet Vinnie Paul at a horror festival about 10 years ago and he was auctioning off a guitar signed by Dimebag. He was very nice to all his fans and took a picture with us. I think it's cool to say that about Axl. But all of us knew that already! Axl rocks! Majestic Beast
Definitely it's Axl's year,as performance,as comeback with reunion and when the recognition comes from guys like Vinnie Paul it's more important,Axl has nothing to prove now to nobody.

The band, overall, hasn't sounded better in 23 years but that isn't necessarily true of Axl... I mean, would you really say it would suck to get 2006-2010 Axl back with THIS band ?

Age - performance ability relation is the best now. Far more work needed to do something like this at his middle 50s than anything else ever before imho. Still, 2010 is the best but not do sure bout 06. Not to tell that he is closer to look like in his prime ( w/o beard, moustaches, bizzare hair stuff And shit) And his attitude is awesome, best ever imo. And it's great that new generation may see live one of the best rock bands ever. For me, not only the voice that matters. True a younger Axl would be great, but he has the '87-'93 passion back. He cares again...he's "free". The animosity and the 'trying to make a point' vs Slash is gone. He knows he's no longer playing with a bunch of jokers on stage as he has the real deal now, better late than never!

He may not be singing like 2010, but he's definitely the old Axl again. You can see he is enjoying it, before he was all bitter and trying to show everyone that he was better than Slash. J Dog
Much respect to Vinnie. Lots of people can't take off the Axl hating shades long enough to give him a chance sometimes.
