I just read through the thread..unlike most of the openers, he sang to practically a full stadium, good for him! btw, someone just sang (and butchered) Tennessee Whiskey on The Voice. J Dog
Sounds like his set went really well. I thought he was a cool pick for an opener. And I'd tell anybody to check out Traveller. Good stuff

J Dog
I like that Don't Wait up for George, especially I'm Playin' Possum. I love how Shooter and Waylon re-did Outlaw Shit before Waylon died. It's kinda like his, Johnny Cash - Hurt. Based on a true story....

Fitha_whiskey
I just saw that George Strait announced 4 weekends of shows in Vegas at T-Mobile Arena!!! Man, I'd be down with that. My old lady hates country though, so not sure I can talk her into going. Especially since this is shaping up to be a big summer concert season for us. (Guns in St Louis- hell yeah, for starters)... Edited December 3, 2016 by Fitha_whiskey

He's the real deal and a stand up guy for sure. You can hear it in his voice.

As the old timers say, the shit that killed Elvis I'd love to sit around Willie, Merle, Waylon, Hank Jr, Cash, just smoking and talking and telling stories. Willie is so cool he made a reggae inspired album at 70!
