Why would they do that? Axl has kicked major ass on the 2 biggest grossing tours of the year. Nothing against the other guys but you would think it is obvious.

Disturbed posted the voting link on their official facebook page.. soo..

More like Titan of the decade. The release of Chinese, the lax incident, 2010 as a whole what a monster, 2006 the predator version that murdered everything such revenge. Ginger Titan.

And then he just leaves it in Vegas and strippers like fat Elvis while secret talks about dinners with Slash are being planned secretly. This is perfection, and don't get me started on the video screens!

Finally, the mastery of the cash grab. The balls to say Slash's return was always considered and a realistic option while calling him a cancer as well in the past and lost his fire as a guitar player, what a pathological liar, not in this lifetime!

And Izzy? Izzy is Izzy. You think he means one thing, but it's not really. But oh how he sang for AC/DC. No one else in the world. No one.

Axl/Slash/Duff winning on vocals/guitar/bass but come on - Axl deserves the titan award more than that dude from Disturbed or the other one. He turned himself around, got the voice back, got back in shape, got Guns back to REAL Guns, managed to do the impossible filling in for Brian Johnson, and toured extensively with 2 of the biggest rock bands ever. He made his way into rock royalty as far as I'm concerned.

Absolutely. Don't know how any other rockstar is up for discussion- Axl kicked some ass, doing 70+ shows with two of the biggest bands in the world and reclaimed the title of "greatest frontman of all time"- especially after his transformation from the dark years of 2011-2014. Singing amazing, on time, reconnecting and connecting with friends new and old, Axl will go down as the last true rock star and goddamn legend of 2016.

Greatest front man of all time? By playing 25 year old songs and by touring with and singing another band's songs?

Last true rock star? How so?

But yes. Axl is without a doubt the MVP of rock music in 2016. There is little doubt about that. Though the lack of an actual album does make it a bit cloudy for some voters.

*****

Do people really care about random online polls and awards? The winner will be which ever band can can utilize and organize its FB and Twitter followers.

Gnr has like 30 million followers on FB. They should easily win every award that can be "voted" on.

I feel this is the year of redemption for Axl.

Buried the hatchet in what has to be one of the bitterest inter-band fights in history, at least the most famous one.

Returned to the stage with a somewhat reunited GN'R, and received almost exclusively praise from the press and the casual fan.

Is part of what seems to be shaping up to be (I looked at the numbers and made a prediction) the second most successful concert tour of all time (behind U2's 360 tour).

Received quite a lot of backlash from the AC/DC fans when announced as the replacement singer. I think it's safe to say he won the majority of the fans over. Great reviews from that tour as well.
