You can listen to Chinese Democracy on the setlist.

I've been playing for the last couple mins and picked CD to play. That's a different mix than the album. Not saying anything about it is newly recorded, but it's definitely a different mix.

Wtf yea. Either someone spent his precious time sitting around newly mixing an 8 year old song or this is from the Version 2 of CD that never came out

Can someone record it and share? :)

Got the CD mix and uploaded it here: http://www12.zippyshare.com/v/RHzdpdzJ/file.html

From a quick listen it is a new mix + cuts out the intro and has a quick fade out unlike the album version.

The quality is shitty on the game itself, but for those who care for preservation sake. Here's lossless flac: http://www43.zippyshare.com/v/Tfp6ZN1s/file.html

Judging from the waveform, the drums are a smidge quieter (or clipped). Theres also some "leveling" done. The verses are a smidge louder, the intro is louder (or you could also say everything else is quieter). Theres not a huge difference to me. Just some volume level done with the already mixed track. Doesnt seem to me like theyve gone back to the master tracks or anything.

Kinda odd that they didn't use Better (a track that seems most liked than the other CD tracks). To me, without Brain's drums (from the leaks), the title track isnt as exciting as it could be. I'm not saying that with Brain on it it would be the greatest rock song ever created, just that It would have been better lol.

To my ear the guitar fills and some vocal parts sound different. I dont listen to the album version that much, but it seems the small things stood out a bit more, there were some guitar runs and a vocal line at the end I never noticed before

The guitar parts are what I noticed first. The very first part of the solo is a different take than what's on the album.

I din't find that big of a difference, just a little here and there, it sounds like a low quality version of the song.

Theres no big difference.

If you spend a bit of time listening to the album version a couple times and then the new mix, you will definitely notice the little details. I guess it's a bit better mixed now, but who actually gives a shit?

I inverted the album version and this version, and it canceled out perfectly (sans the high end and low end). If there were different guitars, it wouldve have "jumped out" as in being readily apparent.

I also applied them over each other, and if there were different solo takes, you would hear double guitars, which there werent

So same guitars, no alt takes
