Bought two tickets for me and the Mrs gonna be her first GNR gig. Looking forward to this, last gig I went to was first night at Vegas.

any idea how many tickets they expect to sell for this? I've booked a hotel in drogheda and wondering if it's gonna be total mayhem when the concert ends?

This will be both mine and my friend's first GNR show... I'm beyond excited.

Haven't got a clue how I'm getting down or back up but I'll figure it out

Got gold circle tickets. Just need to decide where to stay. Some saying it's a nightmare to get out of afterwards, others saying it was better organised for the Foo Fighters last year. Here is a map I found of the layout for that gig.

I know its a ways away, but any local folks have suggestions on how/when/where to arrange transport from Dublin to Slane? I was going to rent a car but it sounds like roads will be closed, so I am assuming I will need to find a bus service.

anyone know how big the gold circle is exactly? is it the size of a normal pit or bigger?

Looks pretty big to me, also looks quite far from the stage.  Those tiered seats near the castle are VIP - look how far away they are!

Looking at that so glad I got golden circle. Those VIP seats are a joke!

I'll be sitting up there as well as that is where the disabled area is. Looks a good distance away from the stage but know me and the brother be just happy to be at our 1st guns n roses show
