It's their loss they can't seem to enjoy it. I've personally enjoyed the three shows in this leg. Of course there are moments I think: ouch, but overall the great far outweighs the bad for me If posts or posters annoy you, just scroll past them. So I guess that shows -- beyond any doubt -- that 1) the band doesnt sound awful and 2) Axl voice doesnt sound horrible! PS: I learned the hard way that I can not do it better, but there is a band who can. The name of the band "just escapes me". Focus on them That is true :-) And yes i even know that he does not sounds like 1986 or 1988 or 1991, have you seen the Indiana show from 1991? Damn his voice is harsh, but it still sound quite cool. I think Axl sounded on it like he has during the whole NITL tour (with the exception of a couple of shows where there was some improvement). Neither better nor worse. I think it all adds to the live experience and proves they are a real live band. What you do get is one hell of a show. Lots of energy, stage presence and talent there live in front of you. This makes the imperfections insignificant and you just really enjoy the great rock n roll show they are famous for. As for the setlists, they are pretty much what everyone wants to hear at "their" show. Sure we all have a fav song that they switch or leave out and a cover we're not over enamoured about. But I think mixed in an almost 3 hour set, it doesn't take anything away live. But they're avoidable imperfections that Axl doesn't care enough to correct. It's not "because he can't" that's obviously not true. We've seen that he can on this tour and obviously with AC/DC. It's fine to criticise when it's fair. If he blew his voice one night and sounded bad for the rest of the show I wouldn't criticise him for that, shit happens.
