Prostitute/Madagascar are my favorite from CD, I don't know which one to choose, but I don't understand the "popularity" for SoD

I can not vote because I have only attempted to listen to the album twice, and that was a struggle. On both occasions I got as far as Riad and the bedouins and then gave up.  I don't dislike Better currently in the set list, but would much rather see some UYI deep cuts in its place, or drop some of the covers if your going to put in more CD.

I really like the dynamics of If The World.

The tastefulness of the flamenco guitars juxtaposed against the grinding riff. Not to mention, the Buckethead solo is right in the Joe-Perry wheelhouse that Slash occupies.

To me, that song more than the others, calls out for Slash and Duff's contributions. They'd blend well into the sonic landscape.

 

Of course, most people hate the song, but I say, fuck 'em. Play it anyway.

Love Street of Dreams and Madagascar, but I think Slash and Axl together on Prostitute would be amazing. I love this song. So passionate and love how the ending trails off at the end.

If the World. If they stripped that ridiculous porn groove from the song and had Slash riffing over it -- it would be instantly better. As it stands, Buckethead kills on that track. Especially dig that flamenco outro....I've heard Pittman may be responsible for it.

Prostitute could also be elevated in a major way with Duff and Slash.

Nothing can save Madagascar and The Blues. They would have to be gutted completely imho.

Oh My God would be an interesting proposition for the band though I wonder if Axl can even pull that one off anymore.

Pitman has contributed a 12 string Guitar, bass, keyboards and Sub bass to If the World.
