dalsh327
Even though the book updates take it past 1001, how many of these movies have you seen? Some of them do take hunting and searching to find them. http://1001films.wikia.com/wiki/The_List
Black Sabbath
Too long of a list for me to look at every single movie, but I did scroll to the bottom and check out the most recent entries. I gotta admit, I don't know about the rest of the list, but I wouldn't call some of those "must see" movies. Great movies? Of course. But movies you HAVE to see before you die? I don't know if I'd put The Cabin In The Woods, The Wolf of Wallstreet, and The Force Awakens in that category
Len Cnut
I've seen the majority of em. I am Jacks wasted life
Silent Jay
You need to see Anvil! before you get cremated.
DieselDaisy
Glancing at it, there seems to be no The Lodger, no Alfie and no I Vitelloni. I cannot seem to see Ran either (unless I've missed it). And The Force Awakens is really a film that will make you clamour for those two hours dissipated watching the thing, when you are on your death bed.
Powerage5
I've seen 167. But yeah, not a very good list in recent years.
James Bond
Well, at least the two contenders for my favorite film of all time made the list.

wasted
From about 1968 I've seem most of them. I've seen obvious ones from earlier like Birth of a Nation or Dr Caligaris Cabinet but I couldn't recommend them. Nosferato that horror one. No Hateful Eight? Force Awakens is dogshit. wasted
Possibly but I never seem to enjoy them. I've seen Fellinis film. But most not. Westerns maybe. But generally no pre-68. 22 minutes ago, John Daker said: seen em all Any pre 68 recommendations?

wasted
Just at a glance from Space Odessesy I start to have seen most of them. Maybe it's just what was sold me via 90s movie magazines. Early 60s they aren't that cult. Maybe there was a cultural change that birthed 90s culture? Edited January 18, 2017 by wasted

My streaming box actually has an okay list of old movies but I don't have an idea where to start. I've seen Brando and Bogart movies. Marilyn Monroe stuff. Arty stuff. Ford westerns. But at a glance hardly any pre 68. Hitchcock too. Not sure if they are pre 68. Edited January 18, 2017 by wasted
