Popular Post Tom-Ass
Sorry if this was already posted but aside from the normal Fortus distractions it is pretty fucking awesome and I didn't see it here. Wish the sound was a little better but still a pretty great watch. Still think Slash should rock out with a ball cap more often. Pretty awesome to see him practicing in a Stadium again.. With Duff even.. Didn't see this coming when I saw him at Pufferbellies in Hyannis MA during the Ain't Life Grand tour.. Quite a long steady clime back to the top. Well deserved. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10155233459462439&id=48706027438 I have no idea how to post this!! Is there a way to do it from facebook? I think Frank is bad, plain and simple. Fortus is a very decent guitar player but again, he lacks the spirit. Watching the Ritz '88 video for Rocket Queen you can see Steven putting his damn soul on that drum kit and Izzy saving the song when Axl disappears from the stage.

The band seems to be more interested in touring than releasing new music and Steven is way more important to the sound (IMO). Plus, Steven loves GNR more than the other 4 combined. 30 minutes ago, marlingrl03 said: Speaking of Adler...Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday, Steven!!! Klay
That rehearsal sounded great. The tone onstage is much better than what the public is hearing through the PA, judging from the several videos I've seen (captured with cell phones just like this seems to have been). MrSoftie
I know it's not a popular opinion, but I love Frank's drumming. Especially what he does during the breakdown in the middle and Slash's solo.

Frank Sorum and Brain are much, much better drummers than Adler. But their main setback is: THEY ARE NOT ADLER. Just like Fortus is a guitar god compared to Izzy, it doesn't matter to fans, because in the end he is not Izzy. They don't have Adlers natural groove, and that is what the band needs, not crazy skills.

Fortus is a guitar god comparing to Izzy? because he does more guitar solos than izzy? because he cant even strum the chords properly on GNR songs? because his stage presence is cringe-worthy? because he cant write a good rock song to save his life? what makes richad the guitar player a god?
