Bud Light Commercial w/SCOM

Recommended Posts

So, not sure if it's been mentioned yet (didn't see it), but just saw a commercial during the NFC Championship game (American football for those of you not in the states) with a piano version of SCOM playing in the background.

From Ultimate Classic Rock:

Two Classic Guns N’ Roses Songs Cleverly Reimagined for Bud Light and ‘Resident Evil’ Commercials

By Matthew Wilkening January 23, 2017 2:09 PM

Two of the most famous songs from Guns N’ Roses‘ 1987 debut Appetite for Destruction have been given a fresh coat of paint for a pair of recent commercials.

In the newest Bud Light ad, which you can watch above, a nervous best man gives a wedding toast made up entirely of flashback memories as a delicate solo piano version of “Sweet Child O’ Mine” plays in the background. (You’ll also notice a quick burst of Heart‘s “Barracuda” in one scene.)

Meanwhile, the two-and-a-half minute official teaser trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil: The Final Chapter movie prominently features “Paradise City.” In an interesting musical twist, the guitars, bass and drums are completely turned off during the song’s climactic moments, allowing Axl Rose‘s dramatic vocals to stand on their own. You can watch that one below.

Guns N’ Roses — who welcomed Slash and Duff McKagan back into the lineup last year — kicked off the 2017 leg of their Not in This Lifetime tour in Japan over the weekend. They will return to the U.S. for 16 more dates this summer, kicking off July 27 in St. Louis.

The three reunited founding members of the group were all recently immortalized in doll form, or collectible figures, if you prefer: You can now purchase Rose, Slash and McKagan Funko Pop! toys.

atleast this one was allot more subtle

didn't the world cup one involve Axl catching a beer in the crowd or some shit? LOL
