The Worst Metallica Song Ever?

OK, it's sort of bashing them, but I actually need an answer to a question. I just heard a song on the radio from Metallica. It is very poppy, and some of the lyrics are

"I wanna make love to her"

"She makes me happy"

"I'm gonna love her till the day I die"

Does anyone know this song and where it comes from? Please tell me it's a cover and that James was seriously drunk when he decided to sing and record it.

Metallica - Sabbra Cadabra Lyrics

Originally performed by Black Sabbath

Feel so good, I feel so fine

Love that little lady always on my mind

She gives me loving every night and day

Never gonna leave her, never going away

Someone to love me

You know she makes me feel all right

Someone to need me

Love me every single night, yeah

Feel so happy since I met that girl

When we're making love

It's something out of this world

Feels so good to know that she's all mine

Gonna love that woman 'til the end of time

Someone to live for

Love me 'til the end of time

She makes me feel happy

It's good to know that she's all mine

I am the world that hides

The universal secret of all time

Destruction of the empty spaces

Is my one and only crime

I've lived a thousand times

I found out what it means to be believed

The thoughts and images

The unborn child that never was conceived

You gotta believe me

Hey, I'm talking to you

Well, I know, it's hard for you

To know the reason why

And I know you'll understand

More when it's time to die

Don't believe the life you have

Will be the only one

You have to let your body sleep

To let your soul live on, haha

Feel so happy since I met that girl

When we're making love

It's something out of this world

Feels so good to know that she's all mine

Gonna love that woman 'til the end of time

Someone to live for

Love me 'til the end of time

She makes me feel happy

It's good to know that she's all mine

She's all mine, yeah

i dont really like the song , i had a gf whose favorite metallica song happened to be sabbra cadabra  cos she happened to own imo the worst thing metallica recorded garage inc

i know how to play a little bit the intro is kinda catchy and not so bad but the song just doesnt do it for me

as far the worst metallica song ever i'd say........... definetely something from st anger, one of the last songs cos i like some songs in st.anger, st anger is a good song, frantic is cool too, the unnamed feeling, invisible kid, some kind of monster, i like all of those songs, i havent listened to the rest that much

St Anger.

But they murdered "Whiskey In The Jar" by Thin Lizzy, which was extremely uncalled for.

BY THIN LIZZY?

You don't actually think Thin Lizzy wrote that song do you?

It's a very old Irish folk song. I believe it was originally by The Dublinners who wrote it....Irish folk music.....but it could be older. At least their version is what I would call "the original"....

Personally I liked the metallica cover by the way....but the dublinners version is still the best :)

I know it's an old Irish song. The only version I've heard is Lizzy's so yes, I made a mistake by saying it was Lizzys song.

They murdered "Whiskey In The Jar" by whoever wrote it. That's enough.

I mean I like Metallica, but that is some shitty covering.

It's an old irish drinking song (for example The Dubliners had it on a record), Lizzy invented the version with the famous guitar-melody, and Metallica covered the Lizzy-version

:book: :krider: :shades:

It's a stupid cover of a fantastic Sabbath track - Sabbra Cadabra.
