The dude wrote so many of the tunes we love, he was the coolest member, he started the band with Axl... Come on. Who gives a fuck if he left? Its a good thing he did. Id have left to. It was for his well being. Its a straw mans argument for Axl nutters now, bringing up a scenario that happened over 2 decades ago. I'm as big of a fan of the current line-up as you seem to be, but I respect his decision and you should too. He's made his choice, and it's his right to make. He obviusly contributed with gnr and is a founding member. But.. If this is some kind of trolling since HeS gonna be with gnr at some point. Well, kudos on that. Nice move. It isnt totally crazy "Axl indoctrination" and it isnt crazy "fuck GNR" either. Its just a bunch of different views speaking their mind. I was here for the Axl chats. It wasnt even bad aside from a few posters. Besides, it was Axl who started shit. His opening remark was calling a user out. After that, it was a pretty cool chat and he seemed to like it here. He was, however, even worse against Madison a few years later. He appeared, insulted her, and left without a word. The only time things got actually bad, was one incident where Ron came here. Its the only thing that would make me pay these prices. Last year was a lot of fun. A real rebirth for this band. I loved seeing them in Vegas and twice on the regular tour. I've made some very good friends from that Vegas weekend and if I could go to Europe I would mainly to see them, not really the band although it would be a nice plus. Again, the band can do whatever they want, I won't begrudge them. But its hard to see me contributing anymore money to it. Izzy would be something new, something more original, and I'd fork over some more money for that. Also because I would think it would bring back either Adler or Sorum to make it even more official. Izzy being back truly does mean that much to me in terms of continuing to support the band, at least monetarily. I hope at some point they come to an agreement, cause I never thought I'd see Slash up there without Izzy and now I really can't picture going to a show if thats the case. Just not worth what they are charging. Agree 100% Last year was amazing and I like this lineup, but it is a shame we are STILL not getting the "real deal". Izzy and Steven should be there. Its the principle of it. They arent an authentic band a anymore, theyre millionares on a massive corporate tour with hired hands. Thats fine... I understand it but its not like they are hanging out and all that. Even if Axl doesnt like Steven personally and all that it doesnt matter becaise they probably barely see each other as is. Seems like its a money thing which sucks. Steven and ESPECIALLY Izzy helped start this band, they should be there. Simple as that (...and yes, it is the reunion. Just look at the merchandise and marketing) Id see GNR again when they come my way, but why should I travel to see the same show over and over?
