AtariLegend
If you've never taken the political compass test before, this is something that's always interesting to do. It's 6 sets of questions and at the end it'll list where you're views place you on the scale. https://www.politicalcompass.org/test/ This is me generally for example; Once you get to the end just copy the image url under "Your Political Compass" and click insert image from URL (paste). This is the basic premise when it comes to views (in theory); Note that for historical figures, how they may have answered things is debatable. alfierose
That was interesting, seems I'm not too far away from you. I think some of my answers were slightly contradictory though.

Słash
Im doing it now, some questions are mind boggling. It honestly depends for some questions, its hard to totally agree or disagree with them. Edited April 16, 2017 by Słash
Słash
For example In criminal justice, punishment should be more important than rehabilitation. It is a waste of time to try to rehabilitate some criminals. These depend on what kind of a crime that person has done.
Słash
So is this good?

I answered no to the first one and yes to the second - that's what I meant by my answers being contradictory, it doesn't really allow for nuance. 42 minutes ago, Słash said: So is this good? There isn't a good or bad, just your opinion.

My father was in prison growing up so I guess that makes me partial to rehabilitation. That is an experience that has really shaped me politically. I think it depends more on the individual convict and who they are as a person then the crime itself.
