No news for Chile yet, it isn't confirmed, it seems there isn't any stadium available for sept 29 and 30?!?  ? . it was supposed to be like a rock festival 1 day Gn'R+ The Who and next day Aerosmith + Leppard.

Well, if that means that GNR would take The seeker out of their set and add another GNR song, then yes, it would be epic. I just recently noticed, that they also were playing that song in 2014 (and actually started with it in 2012... looking at setlist.fm it's kinda pathetic to see that The Who are listed as having played that song 230 times and GNR having played that song 115 times, even though obviously not every Who setlist is up there)... not sure if I never knew that or just forgot. Anyway, I really wonder why that song is still in the set. It's bad enough they still play Knocking on heaven's door and I find Live and let die only a fraction as exciting as back in the day, but at least those make sense.

It's not only The Seeker. The Babe I'm Gonna Leave You jam was also played by the previous line-up for example.

some people are insane, please listen to this songs:

Baba O Riley - Wont get Fooled Again - Who Are You - The Seeker :) - Bargain - Pinball Wizard - Love Reign O Me - Behind Blue Eyes - I Can See for Miles - I Cant Explain - The Real Me - See Me, Feel Me - My Generation - You Better You Bet - Substitute - Im Free

Such a wealth of great songs!!

I prefer the first two albums...Maximum RnB! (although technically only the first one fits the Maximum RnB description!).

Yes, he did, and canceled it immediately after himself. He did so to investigate child pornography since he experienced "something creepy" himself  when he was a child. Also, the Double O charity was founded in 1976, years before that event (makes sense with his background story imo).

I find this story absolutely believable, I want to know stuff myself when I'm interested in something and figure out how exactly it works.  The police found no files related to that on his computer and it was just a bad idea which got him into troubles.

Don't believe everything you read in the media. :)

Edit: London police cleared Pete of kiddie porn charges after their four-months investigation. Nothing to add I think.

He also had spent the late 90s banging on about safety on the internet and how child porn was available on it and how credit card companies had been colluding with online purveyors of child porn, there are numerous instances of him speaking publicly about this as well as the article he wrote prior to the charges on the subject.  I wouldn't like to stand up and say whether he is or isn't a fuckin' pedo as a mathematical certainty cuz well, i don't know the man, why would i do that about anyone...but i wouldn't accuse em for free-ness either.  This idea that he was left off cuz he's some beloved celebrity is a tiny bit ridiculous, what, is he more beloved than Michael Jackson?

The Oo - even half the Who - will blow Guns off stage - no doubt about it. They blew The Stones (in their pomp) off stage during the Rock N' Roll Circus to such an extent that Jagger canned the footage for forty years. They obliterated everybody at Woodstock. Hendrix and The Who had to draw lots at Monterey, such was their fear of one and another.

You do realise your comment worksnequally well if I replace 'The Who' with 'Guns N' Roses' and '1969' with '1987'?

The only valid and fair comparisons (live performances) are (context taken into consideration):

- 60s The Who - 80s Guns 'N Roses

- 70s The Who - 90s Guns 'N Roses (lineup changes taken into consideration)

- 90s The Who - 2017 Guns 'N Roses

I don't think 2017 The Who can blow off 2017 GnR, but they are 20 years older.

I'm seeing them in July and I can't wait. If you listen to Love Reign O'er Me recently I think he sounds phenomenal regardless of age.

The Who still sound way more authentic and that's what makes the duo Daltrey/Townshend indefinitely better to see live. This fall, they will end their set with Won't Get Fooled Again or Baba O' Riley or something from Tommy, and GnR will be left with peanuts: Easy, Jungle, Chinese whatever, show-off attitude, that ain't gonna stick.

But, I don't know much of SA crowds, perhaps, they like Don't Cry and November Rain better.
