I chose New Kids on The Block. They were huge at that time. So was MC Hammer but NKOTB did have more hits. it's funny though-both NKOTB and MC Hammer got big enough to have their own cartoon yet both disappeared just like that. How many other musicians got their own cartoon series?

Oh man, WTF is up with these shitty choices?

How about we move into the rock genre...coming off of 1989's Dr. Feelgood, my vote goes to the Crue. Just got done listening to RW&C...they got a lot of crappy generic music, but this album had it's share of great tunes. 89/90 they were at their peak.

Of those, the one I most like is Mr.MC Hammer (I saw four of his videos some days ago and thought, "Oh, wait, this is actually pretty good") but as far as being the most iconic, my vote goes to New Kids on The Block. Boy Bands ruled the 90s, and NKOTB was one of the first and most succesful ones.

Not many. Thankfully. :X
