I've never been massively into him really as an artist, but there's no denying he's a legend and one of the greatest guitarists ever that's for sure. No way in hell is he overrated as a guitarist.

He was/is brilliant in my eyes. Just listen to that live version of Crossroads that Cream covered and made their own. Amazing song and Clapton at his peak. 2 of my favourite ever solos inside the one song. Just great at what he does, but these days he doesn't seem as dedicated as he once did.
