BrownRock
hmm.. hyde park seems to be the best 1..That's what "Richard & Judy" said .Anyways this is what I think of our lineup:Mariah Carey - Totally fake, she's just a slut.Coldplay - Might be ok to watch for 1 song only.Dido - Not my type of thing to listen to, to depessing.Keane - Who ?Sir Elton John - Will be amazing there, he's a legend.Annie Lennox - I think she's past it now, but should be ok.Madonna - Doing it for the publicity not the appeal.Muse - To heavy.Scissor Sisters - Should put on a good show.Sir Paul McCartney - Should be excellent to see a Beatle perform.Joss Stone - I hate her, as soon as she made it big in the US she ditched EnglandStereophonics - There great, should put on a good show.Sting - Again should put on a great show if he still has it.Robbie Williams - He is great performing live, I think his will be one of the best.U2 - I'm not to keen on them, but they should keep the crowd amazed.REM - Why are they doing the Hyde Park show.Velvet Revolver - It is going to be great seeing them on stage at this event.Bob Geldof - Should stick to talking crap, rather then doing music. The Killers - Should be good. The Cure - Great to see some classic rock.Snow Patrol - Who.::BR::

Maddergascar
It's an okay lineup. You have to realise that the music scene has changed in 20 years. Back then pop=rock. Now we have to have a lineup full of pop singer-dancers, and wussy NME bands like the Killers, Snow Patrol, Scissor Sisters etc because that's what people listen to, sad as it is.I mean, back in the 80's we had legends like Queen, Led Zep, Bob Dylan, The Who. But how many of the bands playing this year will even be remembered in 10 years time?

Maddergascar
But when there are so many awesome rock bands in the world right now, why is it mostly indy bands. I can see why people like quiet bands, but to be honest, at festivals, you want a loud rockband that gets people moving.
