swlabr
I think that is without a doubt one of the best Pink Floyd songs ever! To top it off, it has that incredible solo at the end Very calm at first, then ends with a incredible but not over-the-top solo. I think it's great. What do you guys think? White_Mouse
Pink Floyd are my favourite band but I think that CN is so fuckin' overrated, The Wall is full of better songs than this one. It's a bit to mellow for my taste.

It's a bit to mellow for my taste. I'm new to the WHOLE Pink Floyd world so I haven't been able to listen to the whole cd (The Wall) as of yet. But the songs I have heard are great! For example, "Trial." Sounds like something off the Nightmare Before Christmas
Lumiere
The Trial is one of the worst songs in the PF back catalogue. It's that simple. As for Comfortably Numb, it's far too overplayed. Mindblowing upon the first listening, less and less astounding with each listen.
Cold-Heart-Breaker
good song especially for the spaced out
nunchuck
Freakin great song, overplayed a good song cannot be. One of the best off 'The Wall' which i find an overrated album, its got Roger Waters stamp all over it and i always preferred Gilmour. DoubleTalkingJive
I love it, although it reminds me of my friend who killed himself in 1985, RIP.I was big into Floyd when I was a teenager, getting wasted, watching The Wall couple of times. Not only do I love The Wall but Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here all great albums. Edited June 3, 2005 by DoubleTalkingJive
slashs_servant
Yeh, CN is a great fucking song. Lyrics are great, riffs are great, solo's are great. But there are so many songs off the wall that are on par with this song, such as Hey you, in the flesh, Nobody Home, mother ... etc !! The whole album is great
barhazan
I got "The Wall Demos" (leaked 2004) and CN is so diffrent! (lyrically and musically)

Lumiere
I have. And I do respect the opinions of those who are intelligent, well-informed or astute. I love it and I think it's amazing.Couldn't care less that you don't really... i agree...wish you were here is my favorite PF album as well...okay...pipers is good toothe entire wall album is overbloated and roger water's egocentrific meglomaniactic's pinnicle...sure it's good...but i think he concentrated a bit too much on himself...CN is good though...written by dave btw...he had a version on an earlier solo excursion and they just adapted it for the wall... I love it and I think it's amazing.Couldn't care less that you don't really... Agreed. Wish You Were Here is a very good album. On the subject of 'Comfortably Numb', it's my favorite Pink Floyd song. I fell in love with it the first time that I heard it.
Lumiere
CN is good though...written by dave btw...he had a version on an earlier solo excursion and they just adapted it for the wall... Wrong. Dave wrote the music, Waters wrote the lyrics. The song was demoed just before, or during, The Wall sessions, and does not originate from a solo album.
