not one good lyric on AFD. Maybe three songs worth a mention on the UYI's. nothing worth mention on Lies.

Yet Axl is still better than the man who wrote genius concept albums such as The Wall, Animals, and The Pros and Cons of Hitch-hiking

A tad unfair on Axl IMO. I think you have some valid points but I do think that Chinese Democracy or at least a second album, assuming that will happen, will see Axl write better lyrics.

I think the songs rumoured to be on Chinese Democracy have more emotion within the lyrics than in previous songs. Hopefully I am right and GNR can be a sucess...again

I can't stand his singing voice but Dylan is a better writer than all these guys. Read some of his lyrics and consider the era in which he is from. Nothing short of amazing songs that struck a cord with almost everyone at that time...
