I've actually been one of those leading the protests against the Spiral on the NIN board. lol

I mean - a $60 annual fee just so fans can get - what - another crappy T-Shirt, a poster and *maybe* access to tickets in the nosebleed section of venues was a bit much -- and SO unlike Trent. I don't think Trent did his homework (by surfing the Net to find out what the most popular and successful band fanclubs were doing) before launching this atrocity. And it was so disorganized -- that the company he retained to handle it was still listing Shania Twain in the header. Pretty sad.

I really hope they revamp the program -- either by lowering the fee or adding perks to the package to make it worthwhile for fans.
