Pepeterry
Steve Vai and Joe Satriani are both very very very skilled musicians. Both are very deeply inside the music and the way they write their songs are in very extrange chords that have been modificated. They are both very creative but Satriani was the one who taught Vai but Vai is better in practice... you could rate.I think it is wrong when you are calling technically to play with the teeth, that are things called by me like "guitar tricks" that include playing behind your back, tapping, playing with your teeth and anything that is not in a conventional guitar way, i mean, something that the public would get impress. One example. IF the public is not musical fans, they would apreciate more the speed and the tricks, but if they are in fact guitarrists, they would apreciate their skills with the guitar. Hendrix is one of the best doing tricks and stuff!

Anyone who can do Vivaldis Four Seasons on guitar is worth mention as "technically skilled" Yngwie Malmsteen would have to be up there, along with Karl Logan, Peter Frampton, Eric Johnson, Steve Vai, and Joe Satriani. johnezz
Steve Vai holds the record for the worlds fastest playing on 1 fretboard, not freaking two.Besides i've seen Vai play two fretboards at once as well, on that movie where he's at the crossroads.
