I'm learning old Flamenco-style songs in class. Still the basics, 'cause I suck.

Yeah, very wrong..

Well, at least I'm not the only one learning Flamenco style.

I think it's better for a starter :)

I quite like it...

I'm moving onto some really cool Blues-style stuff now, to practise slides and all that jazz

Bit of both.  Mainly it's actual sheet music, but I've used some tabs.  All depends on the song, really.  It was all sheet-music, but I've done the likes of The Beatles - Blackbird, which I learned from tablature

The tune I'm learning just now is in staff notation with tabs underneath

Ah, that's awesome. My class sucks and goes by so slow <_<

How long have you been playing? Are you learning electric or acoustic?

Acoustic. But my cousin lets me jam on his Squier Strat when I'm round at his place, which is always fun. Been saving up, I'm hoping to get my own electric soon

Same here. My old man said he'll try to get me one for Christmas (Fender Stand. Strat hopefully). And now that he's got a new job and making better money, the possibilites are endless.

What can you play ARQ?
