  1. Past hour
  2. eh... could be worse. there was a RHCP Flea groupie that somehow got access to his sweaty used after show underwear, squeezed it like a wet towel and drank every drop of it. saw a guy talking about it on VH1's behind the music. it's nuts out there.
  3. I don't know why, but this whole conversation reminded me of another occasion a few years ago (also during a GN'R break, I think), when Beta (?) shared a picture of Axl Axl's legs in slippers next to his cats, and the mini meltdown that caused on the forum (Slash and Duff being out there doing things and Axl at home in slippers, not to mention that a rockstar should never wear slippers, etc. )
  4. Katie Taylor’s rematch with Amanda Serrano confirmed on Mike Tyson v Jake Paul undercard - SundayWorld.com Katy Taylor confirms July 20th Arlington TX USA for Amanda S re match ALSO PLS NOTE THIS IS BEING SHOWN LIVE ON NETFLIX IAM ABS BUZZING FOR THIS FIGHT
  5. if I had to bet on it, I'd say that you're right, but technically I don't know. the price seems to be too low for it to be real, that much I know.
  6. You know what i think is weird and stalkerish, going to multiple different posts of mine, taking screen shots and then posting here. You didn’t block out my name in my passport so why draw the lines through to the name to pretend you are being respectful? You need a life, we have a silly hobby, so what, why do you care? You know what’s weirder than collecting band aids, spending time talking about it and searching for multiple posts about it.
  7. No way that’s intentional. Sorry to burst peoples bubble. It was clearly a mistake.
  8. Today
  9. These opinions are formed by two camps, Axl's camp and Izzy's camp. That's all. Those who indulge Axl, mix Izzy with shit, those who are on his side, say as it is that Izzy wanted to do everything right. And most importantly, none of the camps talks about equal pay and money. No one has said directly what happened.
  10. but Izzy posted on social media that they didn't want to share the loot, so not only in the form of a song, he was straight up about it saying it was about money disagreements, basically saying that Axl, Slash, and Duff were too greedy for it to work out between them and Izzy.
  11. Yes, but only in FP money it says that people are fighting over a bag of money. And there is an open path ahead. Just read the lyrics on the Internet.
  12. There's been a lot of people who want to give orders and physically attack anyone who doesn't obey, even if that assault interferes with more important tasks like giving a concert or airport security. Being in charge is what matters so if you need to beat your girlfriend, that's what's gonna happen. If your fans all die of old age waiting for your next album, sucks to be them. Most people don't get away with this as long as Axl has, but that powerlust is a lwell-known aspect of human nature.
  13. The problem is that it is not financially sustainable to both provide the healthcare for people 65+ that leads to longer lifespans AND fund those additional years in retirement at the same time that population growth is slowing. The lifespan increase combined with slowing population growth combine to lower the ratio of elderly benefit recipients to taxpayers funding the benefits. At some point either you have to lower the benefits or raise the age to receive the benefits. You can't possibly "tax the rich" enough to avoid that choice. The third choice is to borrow more money to pay for the benefits but that has consequences in inflation. When social security was conceived, the life expectancy was much different. From Bing AI/Copilot: It was never envisioned for people to be collecting social security for decades which is not unusual now. It also wasn't envisioned for the birth rate to slow or so many labor tasks to be replaced by machines and other technology. When Social Security was enacted, elevators still had operators. Steven would work for weed AND peanuts but not just peanuts!
  14. you seem to be under the impression that TB can influence Axl into releasing music. I don't think anyone can tell Axl what to do, especially when it comes to new music. in a way, they are just a reflection of what Axl wants. it's like this cause this is how Axl prefers it to be. Gn'R sells nostalgia, and as long as they play SCOM and the hits, they're pretty much good to go. they don't need to release new music, though I would love it if they do of course. it's not the main product they are selling and hasn't been for quite a while now.
  15. Would be great, but I don't see that as a real option. Beta is basically Axl's surrogate mother, and Nando is, well, her son. They've lived with him in his own house - they're not going anywhere. The only hope I'd see in this would be if Slash/Duff interfered a little bit and tried suggesting something to Axl every now and then. Some incentive on their part could set at least some things in motion.
  16. I think Axl is pretty happy with Team Brazil, they seem to facilitate everything he wants to do. I don't see them leaving anytime soon unless Fernando needs to go because of the lawsuit.
  17. Lucky us! I was listening last summer's Paris show IEM sound on youtube and it's pretty cool. And that Whiskey '86 show...what a treat! I wish that Axl could see that the band needs a real manager or a management team and let's hope when CD era comes to an end TB is going home for good.
  18. Because he literally said, "They didn't want to split the loot equally." More here about what Izzy said and reactions: 37. JUNE 2016-MARCH 2017: THE NOT IN THIS LIFETIME TOUR IS A SUCCESS (a-4-d.com)
  19. no, Izzy did say they didn't want to split the loot as in money and wrote a song about it F.P Money. it's not clear the size of the share Izzy thought was fair and acceptable but it wasn't about the spirit of brotherhood that's for sure. Izzy got along fine with all of them before that, writing together with Duff, guesting on Slash's solo album and playing with new Gn'R/Axl live a few times.
  20. Why did everyone decide that Izzy wanted equal pay? In his tweet, he did not write what he wanted and did not write about the payment. He only indicated that the members of the group do not exist on equal terms. It's a great fan misconception that he wanted equal pay. It was about the fact that there is inequality in the group and the climate in the team is unhealthy. That's why he didn't want to be there. There is no spirit of brotherhood. That's how I understand his message.
  21. Off course they're still popular but that doesn't mean that they can rely on that forever, it's getting silly. You don't do the vault thing to regain popularity but to keep the interest of your fanbase and the average rock/metal while you're not touring/recording/releasing music.
  22. I think if Axl would be willing to work on new material Slash and Duff were the last persons on earth who wouldn’t be on board full time. They might even gave him stuff to work on. Sorry but seeing those guys work ethic and looking at the records they’ve released in the past 30 years, it’s not understandable to me how someone can put the blame on somebody but Axl for the lack of new GNR music. Nobody can force you to like Slash’s music outside of GNR but if you don’t like his music with Myles then one should think you’d be happy if there’s a change, all the more when GNR music is no option. Again… Slash releasing solo records isn’t preventing GNR to release music. It’s the opposite. GNR not making music is the reason Slash and Duff have so many side projects. Considering this new side project is a great step back to the roots and very well produced by someone like Mike Clink😉. Again it’s ok if you don’t like it, but I think it’s obvious why others are exciting to get new fresh music by their favourite artists.
  23. It occured to me that Audience Members who were in the Concert that Axl said the working at 80 thing could have been say 47(Like a Father going to a Guns N'Roses Concert with his 27 year old Daughter) in 1991 and think,"No way am I STILL going to be working at 80 in 2024. Axl is just saying weird things " 😒🙄😐😵‍💫🤨 And then end up working in 2024 just like axl predicted! 😱😳
  24. You’re absolutely right, of course. They are terrible at this. But I was gonna say "mind you, you should expect the local forum police coming at you soon with such stuff as they don’t owe us anything, people just keep complaining, move on, etc." – and voila, there you go. There’s undoubtedly loads of material that could be released, even if in some inferior Youtube quality, but Axl just won’t release old stuff, and TB - the so-called management team - are living the golden life, so why would they rock the boat by nagging him about anything. At least we have bootlegs...
  25. Because people are interested even when they don't. You mentioned Bon Jovi and this reminded me of a quite from Jon Bon Jovi regarding Axl back in the early 2000s when Axl did nothing at all still was hugely popular: So we can complain however much we want to, whether his strategy is deliberate or not, he has managed to keep GN'R popular and interesting despite doing very little to please the fans. Maybe because he is inaccessible and mysterious.
