For me it is a synonym for torture.
  6. Star Trek: Picard

Actually It was an episode titled "Family" where Picard goes to France just after his assimilation with the Borg. He visits his brother, who runs the family vineyard. There's also a future scene of Picard tending the vineyard in the last episode of TNG.
  7. What's your unpopular GN'R opinion?

well i would say this site has tried to harbour pro nu gnr era as the gold standard lolz
  8. Game of Thrones - The Final Season (***SPOILERS***)

Supposedly the original season 8 plan had Jorah surving and going to the wall after the Winterfell battle while Danny matched south. They changed it, because this was apparently something they thought was a logic gap? So they killed him off instead in Danny's arms. The final scene was supposed to be Jon, Jorah and Tormund heading North of the wall. Just goes to show for the long term planning. At least it wasn't we had Arya kill the Night King, because Jon is the hero and this was unexpected terroity.
  9. General Chat / Random Musings

The kids are all moved in. Not completely unpacked but they can take it from here. By the time they came with the flatbed trailer, the kid and I had everything but the furniture moved. I've enjoyed my mother/daughter time but the next time I go over (I hope) it's for a barbeque and to watch the Blues go for the cup. By the time they move again, I hope to be dead, lol. And somewhere in there, we set the wedding date and reserved the venues. I think we have our shit together.
  10. Axl, you sexy beast.

    Axl and Del
  11. Thanks. Did this 1992 partnership agreement that we have the document of say how the business set up as partnership was structured? http://www.a-4-d.com/t3745-1992-10-dd-guns-n-roses-partnership-contract-memorandum-of-agreement

  14. Which Slash interview is this

That is funny. Whatever happened to Loder, havent heard about him in years.
  15. It is a business. I can tell you that a lot of Private Equity and Venture Capital firms are set up as General Partnerships. You can tell a lot about the company based on the legal tail in its name. The important thing is what is said in the lawsuit against the brewery and the U.S. Trademark filings. These are legal documents, which are sent to a U.S. government agency. We don't know how the partnership is structured, but we do know that the three are partners in the business entity of GNR.
  16. Which Slash interview is this

There is an interruption in this one here (the video is unedited) and around 7:55 Slash talks about Kurt Loder and an interview he had done with him (probably the one after the first show of the tour in Wisconsin). He says Loder was so boring that he didn't know who was gonna sleep first. Then he makes fun of him and says he's too serious and he wouldn't give him a joint because he can't get much slower. It's very funny
  17. Which Slash interview is this

Gotcha, I actually taped those interviews on VHS when they aired on MTV.😄 I didn't know Slash didn't like Loder, pretty funny. But it seems Axl had a certain level of trust with him.
  18. Terminator - Dark Fate

Can everyone just shut the fuck up so we can trash the franchise in a normal way. The Genisys thread was fun
  19. Which Slash interview is this

There are clips from the Duff interview and the other interviews in Paris in this video too. It was an MTV special that was aired the day the tour with Metallica started and it had segments from different interviews, mostly from Paris and from the Freddie Mercury tribute. The Slash interview where he says that about Carole King was recorded backstage at the Freddie Mercury tribute. Yeah, Kurt Loder was something like the official GNR MTV interviewer up to a point. Slash didn't like him and he was passive aggressive in the interviews sometimes
  20. Which Slash interview is this

Yeah, that was before the Paris show. You should check out Duff's interview, drunken hilarity. It seemed Kurt Loder had the market cornered on TV interviews with Guns.
  21. Which Slash interview is this

It's in in the "Guns N Roses: Past, Present N' Future" MTV special. Around 16:10 mark: This Slash interview was recorded backstage at the Freddie Mercury tribute. Transcript here: http://www.a-4-d.com/t3539-1992-07-17-mtv-special-guns-n-roses-past-present-n-future
  22. It's Bruno! is pretty good, wish it was longer though (the episodes are only about 10 minutes).
  23. The Perfection is highly enjoyable nutso horror.

  25. What's your unpopular GN'R opinion?

This is the unpopular opinion thread, not the GNR facts thread!
  26. What's your unpopular GN'R opinion?

Never heard about Slash replacing Malmsteen, but they both played on an album called Blood Of The Snake.
  27. 2 Duff Boston MA for sale

I just looked at the dates on the tour and some dates are just Duff while others have Shooter Jennings. I had assumed that Shooter was playing every show, kind of weird. I assume it's a scheduling conflict thing. edit: The Boston show doesn't have Shooter Jennings.
  28. I remember seeing one of his old interviews (90s) where he's talking about collaborations and he says "yeah I've done Carole King" and then realised that sounds like he meant he had sex with her, and he gets a bit embarrassed and laughs and says not 'done' her but you know what I mean... Anyone know?
