Holy ... Look where it took Gnr. My wife laughed her ass off when t told her about this. What a nice sign to tie everyone's enthusiasm for this band down to the ground. Thanks a lot. Fucking ridiculous.
  3. If they're going to cover anything, surely now, given that the tour is sponsored by Bud Light, would be to debut a 30 minute rendition of the Real Men of Genius skits, bring out Pitman and Ashba as special guests.
  4. its comments like this that make any chance of a new album fall short of expectations. I lob Atlas shrug and realize its ONLY a leaked demo. What exactly makes it a "bad song"?

  6. Not necessarily, they usually don't do just one isolated date. If they're doing this festival then there's a good chance there will be more dates in February until the March festivals.
  7. A Budweiser ad Axl was in.
  8. Now that Im thinking about it, I would love to see Ari on stage, dancing with Ms Reese.
  9. Not really. It's quite complicated, but the region where I was born and raised didn't become officially part of the Netherlands until 1866. This time-lapse is probably not totally accurate however,

  11. Brazilian Bud commercial in 2014 or sth like that.
  12. Certainly not the cultural moment it once was. To say the least! I didnt realize it was 'pay to play' though. NFL needs a lot of changes. Sometimes I hear that too. But sometimes I wonder if was just the the band was better rehearsed and gave a fuck and therefore pulled off great background vocals? To my ears Ashba and Frank were also tighter in 2010. But Im not sure.
  13. Ok, after years seeing this, I have to ask... WHERE IS THIS FROM?
  14. The Boxing Thread

We'll never know cuz he ain't in a division good enough to test the theory...and if we were he'd most likely get outboxed or starched...several times.
  15. No one haa ever confirmed that. It was just always a hope on the part of the fans. I know for sure that they used Bachs backing vocal on Sorry back then, at least. Not sure if they still do or not.
  16. GNR Announce Miami 2020 Super Bowl Fest Show

January was not the month to work on the new album ??????
  17. US Politics/Elections Thread

Then why are bipartisan resolutions being drafted with 8-year expirations to protect overreaching government surveillance programs - it's almost like they're locking everything down in preparation for President Sanders
  18. Broooo what is SCOM?!?!?! Is it a new song?? 🔥
  19. Every SB halftime performer is now required to lipsynch and play along to a pre recorded track. Performers also don’t get paid. They have to take on a sponsor for production costs, etc... That’s the NFL for you. I honestly don’t blame any band/artist for not taking that show. It’s a joke. They only do it to promote a big release/tour that’s a month or so away Also didn’t GNR use some pre recorded vocals as backup in 2010 or was I hearing something?
  20. US Politics/Elections Thread

No. The reason this country's political system is so screwed up is because both parties are funded by a small clique of billionaires that largely agree on the direction of the country, which goes against what the bases of both parties want. Impeaching Trump does nothing to fight this corruption that has infected both parties and the media. Trump is a symptom, not the cause.
  21. Oh right. "No Trickery" was inspired by RHCPs lip-synched Super Bowl Half Time Show iirc. If so perhaps it remains a nonstarter for Axl?
  22. Yeah, I didn't think about that. If anything, I guess I'd much rather have them perform on their own. The Half Time Show is prerecorded audio, so at least he could put effort in the studio for it.
  23. I always thought Guns would never do the halftime show because Axl is super against lip syncing and that’s what the Super Bowl organizers require. However with how money hungry this band has gotten and considering how little Axl gives a shit about being an legitimate artist, sad to say I could totally see him agreeing to lip sync if they did the half time show. I, like many others, haven’t heard of this festival. Is it also lip synced?
