Show #1 - 4/3/93 in Sacramento, CA: Show is going great until someone "hit Duff in the head with a bottle of piss" according to Slash. Shows over and there's nearly a riot at the Arco Arena.
Show #2 - 1/4/03 in Los Angeles, CA: This was the ill fated tour with Buckethead that was cancelled in Philadelphia after a number of events. This time, GNR never even reached the state, much less the stage.
I'm hopeful that the third times the charm for me getting to see GNR live, even if it is the "new" GNR. By this time in the tour the band should have their act together and I'm happy to be seeing the second of the two shows at the Warfield as they should get any sound problems taken care of the night before.
I can't wait - this is going to rock. See you all there, and let's make some noise!

The Warfield's a relatively small venue anyway. My friend called and asked for the seating capacity before. I can't remember but I think she said it was 1,500.

I guess if you really want to get an idea, rent the Slayer DVD "War at the Warfield". In fact there might be some clips on YouTube
