Fucking setlist wankers at it again. It's the first tour with Slash in 23 years and literally tens of thousands of very casual fans are coming to see it around the world. The show and set is exactly what it needs to be for the first time they hit every market. Once they've hit all the major markets with this set and get round to putting a record out they'll change it up.  Why can't people understand something so simple? This isn't Prince or Springsteen who've cultivated so much goodwill with their audience over decades that the people in the nosebleeds at the back of the stadium are just as happy to hear an old 70s outtake as the guy holding the request sign down the front. Thousands of people in the back terraces of Bruce shows wear colour coordinated shirts to make massive 100m long signs saying THANK YOU BRUCE. Like people have said in this thread, those people at Guns shows go to get another beer every other song and say "How many songs til Sweet Child?"  It's a fucking awesome setlist and once they've been round the world once with it they'll change shit up.
    • Any jazz fans in the house?
It's kind of like that with a lot of artists though Len. I mean, can you really put them in just one box? There have always been these big blends of Soul, Jazz, Gospel, Blues, R&B (not the modern shit they call R&B, actual Rhythm and Blues), Swing.... Ray Charles did stuff in all directions for example. Or Sinatra, for that matter.    Ellz is a vocal jazz classic for me though. Always has been.

How was Dresden a war crime, look what they done to London!  They started it, all we did was win.  We were ending the war against aggressors.  It's all well and good in peace time looking back and going 'oh wow, that was brutal and unnecessary and perhaps it was but so was the war overall, the war which they started, I mean it's gotta be done innit?  As is generally the case with these things you tend to present me with an angle that makes me think twice but I can't imagine how you're gonna do that here.

Isn't he from NJ.. Where was he during the MetLife shows? If it was goin to happen that would have been the perfect time. Maybe Axl heard about his review of the Vegas show how he was complaining about 45$ tshirts and turned down tickets to the 2nd night to sell his 10$ key chains
    • Any jazz fans in the house?
I never really looked at Nina Simone or Ella or Billie Holliday as Jazz but I suppose they are, sort of.
