He does this almost on a weekly basis: Nice to see some stability in the Jays bullpen for once.   Texas looks like it's going to be the best team in the AL by next week.   Boston strikes me as a team due for a cold spell.

Only justifiable if you work out and have guns for arms (cough, @Black Sabbath) Seriously, whatever floats your boat.  Not something I'd ever do.  Actually, seeing the movie Trainwreck made me reexamine buying jerseys with an athlete's name on the back.  Now looks like that person is the property of that athlete.  Autographed tattoos are on a whole other level.

Yes, I agree they need to play Who Made Who....love that song!
    • The EU just doesn't work for Britain
Really? On one side I see the EU with all its glaring flaws which are only likely to get worse, perfectly content to throw the Greek people to the wolves (not to mention the Irish and Spanish). I see an institution which claims to have the legitimacy of a democracy but which has an ongoing legacy of governing in favour of corporations (for example, the insistence that public service contracts are put out to tender)  a vote to stay in is more-or-less an endorsement of TTIP as well.. My experience in the Scottish independence referendum tells me that even if the vote is close enough to frighten the EU elites with the possibility of the UK leaving, they won't take that as a mandate for change. They'll just carry on doing more of the same. We haven't even had any of the "we can change!" rhetoric that got Britain another chance from the people of Scotland (which they promptly pretended to do in the most superficial, begrudging and disrespectful fashion while actually just perpetuating the status quo). If we're not even in the position of getting meaningful reform from Westminster by coming within 192,000 votes of destroying the UK state, then what're the chances of getting meaningful reform from the EU? On the other hand, I see myself as Scottish first and European second, the idea of being isolated on this island with Boris running the show, unfettered by any sort of regulation and free to set policy agendas on human rights and immigration (among others), is utterly wretched. Fuck that. The leave camp rhetoric is prominently driven by crazy, xenophobic, right-wing Little Englanders and I don't think there'll be much room in a post-EU UK for my vision of a social-democratic, progressive, autonomous Scotland. That's why I find it depressing either way.

I tried doing this before but it came out as a status  ( I am soooo technologically challenged  ) anyway I thought you might prefer this as a PM instead of just in a post. I was very touched by the story of your son, how he loved rocking out to AC/DC, doing the oi oi oi parts and such. he seems like he was a very cool dude and i'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my younger brother back in '77 and I often think we would have had a blast going to AC/DC concerts and GN'R ones as well. I am sure your son is looking down from above at you and is very proud of his rock Mum  you seem to be a very nice, very cool person and I enjoy reading your posts. hope to read more soon, take care!
