    • It's really disheartening to be reading this. I haven't been watching whole streams like others here but have seen enough videos with Axl and Slash interacting on stage, Axl's arm around him, really vibeing off eachother. From the first show where Slash went up to the throne to play the TIL solo directly to Axl and multiple backstage pictures of them talking, laughing and smiling all the way from the rehearsal footage to recently.    I know you said it's just a feeling but @Powerage5 agrees with the sentiment that Slash doesn't think much of Axl. Could you elaborate? In what sense? I mean, the birthday tweet with Godzilla implying Axl is a vocal monster, plus going to see him with AC/DC....he certainly respects the talent and was saying really nice things about Chinese and Axl's "genius" for years before the reunion. But then I can see with Axl having completely given in and capitulated in order to keep the band going and without any public explanation as to how/why after everything he's said that Slash could see him as weak and insincere.
    • *Axl wakes up, middle of the night, in the November Rain bedroom and scratches down "shoulda said about chocolate and sugar and mel"* *goes back to sleep*
    • Axl has always overwritten and oversung. Annoying, but it's an imperfection that is part of who he is. He won't be told.  Slash has admitted he won't be told either.  Whole band objected to constructive criticism.  Jungle was supposed to be a verse longer and it was what's his name?  One of the producers they were considering for AFD and eventually passed on?  Anyway, that guy suggested they shorten Jungle and they did because they actually respected his opinion.  Thank God. Many UYI songs suffer from being too long, unnecessary vocals and questionable lyrics.  I still love them all despite that, maybe even because of that.  They are flawed yet compelling, but I see that as a reflection of their creators.
    • Then setlist.fm is wrong again. Anyone has the complete setlist for this show? EDIT: I see setlist.fm has been updated now.
    • I was 14 when I started getting into Guns in late 92 I had heard SCOM and PC a few times before and was aware of GNR but I wasn't bothered with music beforhand. My friend I hung about with then was heavily into GNR and I asked him to make me a tape with various GNR songs. The first 3 songs were  WTTJ, KOHD and SCOM live from Paris 92 and the rest were songs from the albums. That got me into them and once I heard AFD in full I was hooked. It was once I repeatedly watched the Tokyo concert on VHS that I became a big Slash fan.
