    • Everyone knows his vocal range is insane. But what about his howls. Those fuckin siren screams. What is the best or maybe longest screams hes done? There are so many to choose from dude is a powerhouse. Maybe there is some I don't know about, please help me!
    • But did Axl originally want two lead guitarists? If my memory serves, Robin was the only one, Buckethead came in after Robin quit but then he came back and that's when the 3 guitarists joke started. I'm not 100% sure and I don't really care too much anyway but that's how I remember it. I think people love bashing DJ but I actually believe him when he says they were writing and those kind of things. That doesn't mean Axl was actually interested in using those ideas but I think DJ was hoping he was gonna be able to be part of a new record and have his own material to play live. And I believe Ron too but the thing is he seemed to be so isolated from everyone else in that "band" that he probably wasn't involved in what they were doing. Here's a quote from Fortus: Fortus: "DJ and I have worked on stuff… Nobody's worked on stuff with Ron. There's so much stuff that's recorded, there's so much stuff that was done. I mean, there's three albums' worth of material, easy… "I know this week he's [Axl] recording a lot of stuff, vocally. "That camp is very… I don't know why. It's just that they're very… Axl is very secretive. He doesn't want stuff getting out. He wants to create stuff and then release it when it's ready. Which I… I get it. He's also a bit of a perfectionist, as you can imagine. "The way [Axl] generally works is that he doesn't wanna take an idea that DJ sent and… What he'll do is he'll take a little piece that I sent, he'll take a little piece that DJ sent on another track, and he's always done that. Back even with the 'Appetite' stuff, he would take a little bit from this, a little bit from that, and then put it together. And when you listen to it, you can sort of hear it. When you listen to the tracks, you can hear that it's… Especially on 'Illusions', the opuses, [where] he took little bits from different people and put them together. He's got a real talent for that."
    • If someone actually didn't buy tickets to a band they like because of their political views....yikes, just yikes.
    • Finck. I liked what Slash did with the CD songs, and respect to him for playing them, but I like all the originals better.
    • Singer Myles Kennedy, who has fronted Slash's solo band since 2010, was asked in an interview with Metal Wani if there are still plans for the group, dubbed SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS, to work on a new studio album now that Slash is off touring with the reunited GUNS N' ROSES. Kennedy responded: "Yeah, there's been talk of that. I think it's just a matter of when everybody's schedules can make it so that can happen. 'Cause the GUNS N' ROSES thing is going great. So it's just a matter of when that window comes." Kennedy was also asked if he agrees with KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons's controversial "rock is dead" comment. He responded: "No, absolutely not. I think that [the GUNS N' ROSES 'Not In This Lifetime'] tour is a testament the fact that there are still millions of people that wanna hear rock and roll, which is a good thing. I think that people have been saying that rock and roll is soon to be dead, really, since it started, which is fascinating to me. But I don't think it's gonna die anytime soon." GUNS N' ROSES, with Slash and bassist Duff McKagan rejoining frontman Axl Rose in the band, began touring last year and has already book dates for much of 2017. There's no word yet on how long GUNS intends to stay on the road or whether they plan to record new music. Slash's second album with Kennedy and the CONSPIRATORS, titled "World On Fire", came out in September 2014. Their previous effort was 2012's "Apocalyptic Love". Slash released his first self-titled solo effort in 2010. On that album he employed a different vocalist on each track, before settling on Kennedy for both touring and eventually recording. Kennedy and ALTER BRIDGE issued their fifth studio album, "The Last Hero", in October.
