Oh yeah I forgot about this too. You put degreaser in it and close it over the bike chain and run the chain through it to clean it. Works great. Yeah, I love my bike.

Is that the monthly pass one? I got myself one for the course of the January-February midterm break off a couple of friends who stole one of those ticket machines, and it might just have been the most amazing transport deal I've ever gotten; not because you get to board any of the trains, any time you want, for the course of one whole month, but because those European Inter Rail trains are actually extremely clean, so the month isn't spent dodging urine and vomit. Such a nice change from local transport. ^_^

Show me that I haven't died, my love, and I promise you the apple.

I just bought stuff from Vicki's too. Unfortunately, my SO will probably make me return half of what I bought once he sees how much I spent.

I got the 3 weeks one.. global pass. I'm kinda just passing through some of the countries I mentioned though.
I agree with you on that subject... The trains are all clean and actually fast. Much faster than I thought.. It takes less than 2 days to get from Germany to Portugal. Hi-speed rails ^-^

Which countries did you see? And where do you live?... I don't think I've ever seen you mentioning that :o

I love 'railing really. You get to see like... everything on the way to your destination if you wanna.

Global sounds even better. When I went, we passed through quite a few countries, but we actually spent time looking around only in France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. With the stops in cheaper alcohol-manufacturing countries such as Poland to get hammered for merely a couple of Euros, of course. :tongue2: I would have loved going all through Russia and Ukraine as well, especially to visit the old hometown of sorts, but for some reason those former USSR countries make the tickets a tad more expensive due to being ever so partly Asian, even when you're not travelling through the Asian part, so we decided against it. Anyway, I'm in Slovenia right now, and will mostly be there over the course of the next couple of summer months, so if you want to stop by, I may just be able to give you a really shoddy tour. :P

Show me that I haven't died, my love, and I promise you the apple.

I wish I had more time so I'd see some of the Eastern Europe as well. I'm going almost the same route I did last fall.. I've already planned to meet people in a couple of countries so I don't have time for more.. but next time I'm going it's gonna be Eeastern Europe, so maybe if you're still hanging around there you could give me the tour :).
Sounds like you had an awesome trip really. Are you planning on doing the Interrail thing again some day?

France and Germany are great countries.. Sparkling wine in Paris .. Shit, I loved my last trip. I basically went to work only in order to travel again..
I'm travelling alone this time :xmasschef2:
