crap. impressive! especially considering i heard the damn new ac/dc song 3 times in my 4 trips in my car today and not once gnr

i know tell me about it, same thing here, even though ac/dc is pretty good, CD is going to explode, i just have this feeling as it is released its gonna be like a fuckin tidal wave.
yep...just til the moment when people realize that there is no slash on the album+songs like if the world, rhiad, shackler, prostitute
its just the band name which causes this effect...not the music
are you shitting me? you must be kidding yourself....for one Rhiad is gonna be a stormtrooper of a song that the masses will enjoy its not a shit track. and the music will stand on its own !!
Rhiad ain't gonna be a single. As I said before,if Azoff puts that out he is trying to sabotage the album in hopes of a reunion.
Is there an ignore feature we can use to block posters? If you are on a GNR site, and you are not a Slash fan, you are a stone cold dope.-Sonofabitch

Did you hear the strange Rhiad intro on the promos that leaked recently? Sounds cool as hell. It has a...Chinese tint to it

I don't encourage listening to leaks at this point in the wait.

But the demo of Rhiad that was found in the 9(?) song leak from Kevin "Skwerl" had a really strange intro. That weird noise. It's noticeable in that particular promo underneath...a lot more effects. All in all it sounds very interesting - Rhiad is one of my personal favourites.
I guess it could be a mixture of tracks thrown together. Nothings for certain - but the intro
is there.

Oh well obviously you speak for everyone. All the marketing labels do is a waste, they should just run everything by you because your tastes dictate the tastes of all

Rhiad is still one of my favorite songs from the leaks. I'm amazed that some people hate it.
And the idea is that most people over the age of 13 don't really care who the band members are - they just care about what the songs sound like.

It's not been getting played on St. Louis rock stations despite my efforts. I guess they're still mad about '91, but then again, the usually play GNR. Who the fuck knows.

Its only been played maybe 3-4 times here in Savannah. That's counting all the radio stations put together. I'm so ashamed...

antiMusic) Some artists can stay away almost two decades and come roaring back with hits. Take Axl Rose. The title track from the new Guns N' Roses album hit radio on Wednesday and within a day it was already getting more airplay than the No. 1 song on Billboard's Mainstream Rock radio chart.
Here is a little info that we went sent over: According to Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems, between 5am Eastern on 10/22 and 5am Eastern on 10/23, "Chinese Democracy" was played 683 times - full length - on all BDS monitored terrestrial and satellite radio stations.
WAAF-FM in Boston and WHJY-FM in Providence both played it 18 times during that time period. WBSX-FM in Wilkes-Barre was next with 17 spins.
By comparison, the #1 song on the Billboard Mainstream Rock radio chart was spun 322 times on October 22, with 526 spins overall. -
Well, I think that this (the single hitting no. 1 on the charts) is going to happen. Thankfully, not all the reviewers out there are biased. If the forum members can continue to keep plugging the single, it will reach a wider audience and we will start seeing more positive mentions in the media and it will spiral into more listens and a more positive reaction all round for both GNR and the album.

Things are looking very promising. If Chinese Democracy can hit #1, then that will open up A LOT of doors for the new band.
