Nettavisen Side2

It says that sources close to Slash says he wants these 4 people for his Quart festival appearance :
Robbie Williams, Fergie (Black Eyed Peas), Jack White (The White Stripes) and Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit).

Not exactly who I would have though he would pick

Jack White's a good shout.

But it can't be a wishlist... there's no Axl on it?

I'm sorry. I need to avoid this section for a bit. I love Slash, I really do. I'm just emotionally involved with Chinese Democracy right now.

He knows who Robbie Williams is. In the past Slash has been asked about him because they're both from the same area (Stoke). They even shared a stage together in the late 1990s at a one off concert.

Robbie Williams - No Idea who he is

Fergie - Her and Slash kick ass on Sweet Child

Fred Durst _ I never understood all the hate.. Their first album 3 dollar Bill Yall was awesome

Jack White - That could be really cool.
WHAT A WASTE!!!

he's but a memory now...

Go and prove us all wrong, or screw it up. And he screwed it up, simple as that."

How can you not know who Robbie Williams is?

Robbie Williams and Jack White would be cool, but please don't go with Fergie... at least get some decent pop singer if that's what he wants to do, maybe Christian Aguilera, Alicia Keys or Rihanna.

SLASH's QUART Festival 'Wish List' Revealed? - Nov. 26, 2008

According to Side2, former GUNS N' ROSES and current VELVET REVOLVER guitarist Slash is trying to get Robbie Williams, Fergie (BLACK EYED PEAS), Jack White (THE WHITE STRIPES) and Fred Durst (LIMP BIZKIT) to join him for his headlining appearance at next year's edition of the Quart festival, set to take place June 30 - July 4, 2009 in Kristiansand, Norway. Slash will perform a mixture of old and new material on the festival's opening day.

Slash was in Norway earlier this month to promote his appearance at the Quart festival. His interview with Oslo TV can be viewed below.

Slash's wife Perla Hudson said in a video interview at Rockerrazzi.com that both Ozzy Osbourne and Fergie will make guest appearances on her husband's upcoming solo album. Slash himself told The Pulse of Radio that he was still working out the guest list. "I'm using different singers for each song, so we're figuring out which song goes with which person and I'm not sort of divulging the list of singers, but they're all well-known singers and...sort of, you know, like I go and play on a lot of other people's records, so I'm just making a record and gonna have people come play on this one, you know."

since perla mentioned Fergie being on his solo album...I wouldnt be surprised if these guys are on it too....what the fuck? I was hoping slash would do a cool RNR cd with the likes of steven tyler etc...

I quite like Fred Durst's voice actually. Especially during Staind's Outside, during the Family Values tour.
