With Chinese Dem being a flop, is it official now that Axl has dragged the GnR name through the mud?


Did Axl basically take the GnR name and have butt-sex with it?

I don't like the fact that Axl took the name for himself, and I think they could of made a better and more successful album with Slash, Duff and Izzy.

Pretty much. Axl have made a joke out of himself and Guns N' Roses the last 12 years.

The situation is rather ironic. Axl's cut-throat strategy to gain full control over the Guns N' Roses name privileged him with a limitless, multi-million dollar recording budget and widespread international exposure. All that power and clout — it's amazing he still managed to do nothing more than sink his own ship..

Some fans refer to him as the mastermind behind Guns N' Roses. I'm still trying to understand how they explain everything that has happened since 1996..

It's certainly safe to say that he has horribly, horribly damaged it. But in the end, it will be AFD that people most associate the name with. And he can't destroy that (though he'll probably keep trying).
