Is a good guide to start from, if you have a certain genre or style you're looking for let me know. It's too broad to just pull stuff out of no where to recommend.

But code geass, full metal alchemist, cowboy bebop, death note are all good.

They're also making an akira and neon genesis movie, along with others. All the movies will suck big time. Just because they're making a movie of it, doesn't mean it was the most epic shit to ever hit the earth. DBZ was 30 episodes of fighting, 200 of charging the spirit bomb. srsly

Yeah I saw an episode of the anime of One Piece and thought "WTF". The manga is amazing, perfect mix between comedy and serious stuff.
