Richard Fortus, is your daughter named after the wrestler Rowdy Roddy Piper?

Can you tells us a little bit about your work with hip-hop/RnB artists and if this experience will play a part in GNR in the future?

My question is for Richard.

During the 2006-2007, you played a guitar solo of the song Beautiful. When I first heard you play it on the RIR webcast, I thought you were crazy. Can you imagine someone soloing a Christina Aguilera song at a GNR show. Crazy. Anyway, I think its pretty cool.

To my question. What was the inspiration? Why this song? Does it hold a special place in your heart? You played the heck out of it btw.

Hi Richard,

In august 14th 2002, Axl said the following quote about you:

''Basically, Richard's the guy that we always were looking for. I think that we'll go on to write some very interesting things with Richard and he's already done some rhythm work and some leads on the album."

Now, after seven years, could you tell us something about the possible songs you've written for Guns N' Roses?

Thanks in advance!

I think you are the coolest new gn'r member on stage. Your tone and your solos are just awesome and original
Along with Steve Vai and Slash you are my new third guitarist idol.
But you are not as well-known as them and I think you could have been if you wanted to
So do you wanna be a worldwide recognized guitar hero ? If yes, do you think you are on the right track ?
If not , why don't you?

Richard - over the past several years, while I know you best for your work with GNR, you've worked with a lot of extremely high-profile acts - Nena, Enriqe Iglasias, and Rhianna come to mind. How does the atmosphere of touring with them compare to GNR? I'd imagine that Rhianna and Guns create a totally different aura about the touring lifestyle, and I'm curious how they differ in impact on you.

Is there a song that you think should have made it on CD (that did not)?
