Hi, Tommy. :xmasssanta:

The making of Chinese Democracy have taken some time, was this frustrating for you? Did you ever consider to give up on the project?

Also, I must mention that Village Gorilla Head is a masterpiece. Did you consider to ask Axl to sing on a track or two on your solo album or was this something you wanted to be more personal? When will we get to hear your next solo album? :xmasssanta:

...and last question: is the "Jackie Chan / Checkmate"-song super awesome?

Thanks, man.

Edit: Nevermind those last questions. I forgot that we could only post one. ;)

Tommy, when you were in the Replacements(Awesome Band), a reporter asked you a question, I think it was who are you here to replace, you answered everyone. Do you find that still true ? And when is the last time you spoke to Paul ?

I want to start off by saying that I'm a very big fan of all your work.

Throughout these past years, hearing of your involvement on Chinese Democracy and watching videos of the GNR tours, HONESTLY, kept my faith in this album.

There was a time, when I was afraid it'd never see the light of day....no pun intended on either of those.
---
I was happy to hold it in my hands, but at the same time I was almost a little saddened when seeing that there was only 2 tracks that you were credited for co-writing. I was like HECK, he's the General man, he needs to be featured some more.

It's obvious with Village Gorilla Head that you're more than capable of producing great music.

That album was art! There's a certain depth to that album that makes it radio-friendly (I what that term brings) but without being sappy or sacrificing emotion. Similar to Chinese Democracy it's hard to tag a genre on it. You go from adult contemporary/ alternative to straight rock & roll to Dylanesque folk.

SO, with that being said--- Are we going to see more songs "Written by Tommy Stinson" on future Guns N' Roses albums or solo. If so, do we know any of the titles yet?

Thank you very much for reading,

hope to see you guys live soon!

Hey Tommy, are we going to see some more diverse and interesting bass on future Gn'R albums (slapping etc...)?
I love the bass on CD, I think it's super-cool.

Hey Tommy,

Do you ever stand on stage and look out at the crowd and think ''I'm a fucking legend!''?

Also, do you ever wish you were Scottish on the basis that Scotland is the best country in the world and the girls are all slags! (That excludes my mother).

One more question, simple. Do you ever look at Axl and think ''awesome lad... poor hair''?

Kind regards,

Kev.

Tommy,

Thank you for all of your stuff. everything from Sorry Ma to Catch and Release is great. I would've never given this band a chance if you hadn't been in it so thank you for that too.

My question is how do you deal with the different dynamic of playing for 20,000+ people in GNR to playing in front of 150 solo? Is it a totally different world, or is it more similar than we might think? Do you get hassled a lot more now that you're in a band as huge as GNR?

Thanks for all your music Tommy. Keep it coming.

Did you have a hand in the writing of The General?
