Axl overcame an incredibly dysfunctional upbringing; took his band to unimagined heights, providing them all with lifelong income; underwent the incredibly painful process of putting his issues behind him through therapy; endured viscous and unnecessary personal attacks (a Broadway play about him called "White Trash" - pisses me off - I HATE Broadway!!!), and has spent substantial time and money helping others, including counseling young boys one on one who are victims of sexual abuse. I think Axl is an extraordinary human being in many ways. Granted, I know less about Bono; I am aware he is a do-gooder. But, it could be like when the beautiful rich kid gets an award in school. Big whoop. What has he overcome? I am not implying there was nothing for Bono to overcome, I am saying I do not know.

think war-torn ireland. (though his own town wasn't directly involved) Bono was anything but spoilt or rich.

Didn't particularly think he was a spoiled, rich kid. I know very little about him - certainly not enough to elevate him to Axl's level without more info.

BTW, I thought it was Northern Ireland, with the capitol of Belfast, that used to be at civil war. Bono is from near Dublin, the capitol of Ireland.

In any case, Axl had childhood traumas that would have destroyed others. Others who have suffered his background end up being pursued by the FBI's behavioral Science Unit. But instead, he has written and performed some of the most poignant, brilliant music the world has known, and he has carried out lots of good deeds to boot!

I did say his own town wasn't directly involved, but the whole nation would've come under the impact.
i thought.

Northern Ireland is a part of GB, Ireland is an independent nation, genius.
She left me for Jesus and that just ain't fair She says that He's perfect, how could I compare
She says I should find him and I'll know peace, at last If I ever find Jesus, I'm kicking his ass

Here they are together. http://www.youtube.c...h?v=kSUVrOwB7yo
Watch this clip and you will see that it's pretty obvious Axl has more charisma.

despite physical borders.. the people on that land mass from a celtic background were at war with Anglos and I dare say it affected most if not all other celts in the surrounding area, ... don't you think, genius?
