I had to laugh when he came on against Blackburn though, and the first thing he did was run the ball off the field under no pressure... :xmasssanta:

But yeah give him some time to settle in and he'll be great.

Haha, too true! Then missed two absolute sitters.... but the good news is that he's creating chances that we don't get with our other wingers and soon enough he'll start putting those in the back of the net. :)

Well let's not start sucking his dick just yet. He came on against a tiring blackburn, who had been chasing the game all evening and to be honest at that point would have to start committing extra men forward to search for an equaliser. It's not surprising he was able to find space and time so easily. What for me was more worrying was his severe lack of composure on the ball. He reminds of Eboue in that regard, certainly full of talent but cannot seem to keep composed when delivering final balls or shooting at goal.

There is a reason why nobody at Bordeaux rated him, I fear you've signed nani 2.0- talented but wasteful.

Excuses are like assholes, mate. (Not calling you an asshole, just saying that it's an excuse).Tiring Blackburn, CSKA Moscow had to travel to Old Trafford, whatever... You were worried about a 20 year old, making his first appearance at Old Trafford, having nerves? Really?? If that's your biggest concern, then you're nit-picking...
He is no Nani. He's played a small part in 2 matches for us, and it's clear when you watch the match, that his movement and creativity are not individualistic. He's doing things within the system that United play. Nani tries to hog the ball and make plays against multiple defenders. This lad makes good decisions on the ball. Of course his execution needs to improve, but that's the easiest part. The hard part is getting players to make good decisions on the pitch, to know when to pass, when to move into a space, when to shoot.
By the by, who cares if no one at Bordeaux rated him. If Sir Alex rates him, then that's all that matters to us. He might miss and become a bust, but it's gamble worth taking.

We've renamed our stadium, why?

It's baffling why owners change historical stadium names for some spare pocket change. Their's a certain romantic element to English football when you travel to places like Old Trafford or Anfield or White Hart Lane.... I mean, what's cool about going to Tesco Field or Adidas Park?!?

L.A. Galaxy's stadium is called the Home Depot Centre, now that's depressing...

Any other Man Utd fans quietly confident of getting a result at Stamford Bridge tomorrow?? I never thought I'd say this... having Darren Fletcher back could put the game in our favour I think.

Although Vidic or Evans will have to have brilliant games to stop Drogba and Anelka.

Grimo.

God I hate Chelsea.

Won't say we were better than them, but that goal shouldn't count.

Chelsea are very good, perhaps great. No real obvious weakness to them. I think the difference between the two teams is minimal; both played very well and it could have gone either way.

We'll get 'em next time. I just hope they drop points sometime soon...

It's crazy to see how this news affects me. I've never spoken a single word with him and I didn't even follow his career when he was in Spain, but this really hit me hard. He was a class act, really humble, really intelligent from what you could tell out of interviews and stuff, and now he's dead. Threw himself in front of a train. What a tragic, crazy way to go.
Everytime I was awake at night I couldn't sleep again quick 'cause immediately I was thinking of what's happened.
