You can't honestly think that too-scratchy-and-not-in-a-good-way UYI voice was good...
Too many people on this forum confuse "being a better fit for GNR" with "being a more talented guitarist".

Axl of yesterday or Axl of today....Either way, he's still hot, vocals still sound great and whether he's puttin' out music or not, the man has enough money to do wtf he pleases.

I wouldn't go that far.....

I kinda figured you wouldn't!!! :D

I loved Axl's vocals up until the whole helium fiasco, i much perfer his sand papery uneven voice. Absolutely hated the use of pro tools altering his voice throughout CD

It was natural and unique. I like that. His voice sounds regardlessly good over Slash and Izzy's playing anyways.

If by natural and unique you mean sounded like a dead cat then sure.

that's what happens when you have no technique.

uyi voice>80s and 06 not decided>.............................................................................
..02.

really love the scratchy voice he's got during uyi tour. sometimes I guess it was too much, but overall my favorites. it's less 80s hair metal, I still dont think his apetite voice wasn't 80s just a little bit too clean!
you wanna fuck with me, don't fuck with me esti!
love you all!

People change. He's gotten older, his music has changed, get over it

If we take the vocal, I'd say it is like this:

80's Axl >>>>>>>>>>>>>UYI Era Axl>'06's Axl >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>2002 Axl

I'd like to agree with you, but I can't.
Everything you've mentioned about past members of the band are positive, exept when it comes to Axl.
It may be because I am a big fan of Axl's work, but get real.
None of them have done shit, exept Slash & Duff.
What have I heard from them? Nothing that is worthy of being praised.

Don't talk for everyone by saying that Axl has shamed the name of Guns N' Roses.
Axl has the rights to it, he is the one that is keeping it alive. No one is asking anyone to forget about the original band.
