I have hope

But..I would like for one day the old band, preferably the 1990-1991 lineup with Izzy, Matt and Dizzy, to reunite and I think it will happen---
I've been listening to and reading a lot about Van Halen and I mean it took them 21 years to get their shit together, to get out and reunite--So maybe we'll see a reunion in 2017 (21 years after 1996); Axl and Slash and Izzy will be in their 50s but that isn't really that bad--You can still rock in your 50s. Here's hoping--I could wait a decade for a real proper reunion.

Its going to take a miracle to get them back on stage together..
I dont see them reuniting anytime soon, but it is possible.

Van Halen, Soundgarden, G N'R, I can see a couple of one off shows, but any lengthy tours would just bring back all the previous problems! Would be AWESOME though.

Its just what they do to cope when they fear there might be even a hint of good news for any line-up post 1993.

You'd also probably have Axl telling Slash to "Play more like Huge."

Totally agree. You have to be pretty fucking stupid to still be holding out hope after all that.
Frankly, I thought you'd have to be pretty stupid anyway. I never doubted that's how he felt. But to actually se it in print, and so over the top, what more do you need to see?
"Never say never" is the position of the idiot faced with all of this available evidence. Just a guy or girl living in utter denial.

Yep.
And if you read Slash's book, he laid that right out for you too. He thought it was unfair to the fans, the crew, and not to mention his fellow bandmates for him to keep doing this crap. Has that changed? Does he not still go on at midnight?? Pretty sure he does.
The reunion lunatics need to do us all a favor. Not that this is ever happening anyway, but please knock it off until at BARE MINIMUM, the dude starts taking the stage at a reasonable hour. As Liz Lemon says "that's a dealbreaker".

Those chats were something else.
Just did not show a guy in a good place, on any of this. It was sort of sad, really. The way he talked, you would think all of this went down yesterday. Not over 10 years ago.
