well I became the huge fan that I am today after they split up

I heard about them here and there I guess in from the late 90's, but even in high school, when I likek couple of songs i wasn't a big fan.
till one day i listened to "Patients" in a car of a friend, for the 100 time. this time really listening to it, something just clicked and when I came back home I listened to all there CD's and I liked every single song.

Since then Its My favorite band.

I was on the internet somewhere, and my name popped up in a song called "My Michelle", so I was like sick, I'll have a listen.
I fucking loved the whole sound, and started searching for their songs and immediatly went out and bought AFD.
First CD I bought out of actual admiration.

Funny, the commercial for GTA San Andreas got me hooked on Welcome to the Jungle. Months later I stumbled on Sweet Child O Mine and loved it. Then one day I turned the radio on during the solo in Paradise City and somehow I recognized Slash's distinct shredding and knew it was Guns n Roses. It wasnt until a year full of those three songs that I decided I would look into what else there was that they did, I didnt like any of it. Then one day it all just randomly clicked and it was all amazing.

i'm a fan since november '91.

i spent a lazy evening in my room. the tv was on but i ignored it.

on mtv they showed "don' t cry".

this moment has changed my life completely.

a nice girl turned into a bad girl. :)

it was the beginning of a great and exciting and very passionate time.

I watched the "Welcome to the Jungle" video and that's it... in that moment they become my favorite band ever. I was 15 or 16 at that time

Long after the split. I kept hearing them on a hard rock station that no longer exists, and I always liked what I heard even if I thought Axl's voice was kinda weird at the time but I eventually bought their Greatest Hits in early 2005 because I liked enough songs to justify getting it and checking out the rest and I fell in love. Buying Welcome To The Videos and binging on it late one night completely sealed the deal and I bought everything else within a matter of a couple months. I was kinda skeptical of the new lineup until I saw them twice in 2006 and after that it sealed the deal and by the time CD came out I'd burnt out on my obsessive love for GNR but it definitely lived up to my expectations and was worth the wait for me. I don't love them with the same fervor I used to but they'll always have a place in my heart because they really did help me through some tough times and seeing them live whenever they hit the states again would kick up my interest again for sure.

I was like 10 years old when I became a fan in early 90's, i think soon after Terminator2 was released, mostly cos YCBM video. Since then GNR is my no1.

I became a fan at the end of 06. I was really into classic rock at the time, so I heard them a lot on the radio. At first, I always hated GN'R, but then WTTJ grew on me, and soon everything else.

Fall '03, same day I picked up my first Iron Maiden CD. Someone had just given me a list of bands to check out, and at the top of the list were Iron Maiden and Guns N' Roses.
