Marc Canter's Reckless Road is fantastic and a must have for any real GnR fan. I think Marc should hold GnR tours for die hard fans - he could drive fans around L.A in a big black stretched Hummer with the AFD logo on the bonnet blasting 'Paradise City'. Maybe do a pub-crawl of the Rainbow bar and grill, the Whiskey, the Troubadour etc..., visit sites of interest, and show his personal collection of GnR memorabilia..... :) C'mon Marc, you know you want to...

I already gave some Die hard fans tours that showed up at Canter's and wanted to see some off the sites.

Best day in my life!!!

Reckless Road is such a great book for die hard fans, because it was made by a die hard fan. That's the strength behind RR, plus the fact that it gives the reader the feeling that he or she is really there with the guys on the Sunset Strip during that time.

The waveform of Chinese Democracy shows the true meaning of the song: 2 lightsabers...it's all about The Force. This shit beats spinning LP's backwards!!! Axl Rose welcomes YOU into the 21st century.....

Marc, you really should consider writing an honest to goodness book. Not that RR isn't phenomenal, but it is first and foremost a photo book.

In the years to come, I imagine there will be more third rate books like Watch You Bleed that recycle the same myths and conjecture. As Voyeur into this band since day one, you have a perspective that no other writer or journalist ever will.

I'm just afraid we'll never get a real, honest portrait of the band as a whole from someone who knew them. The best we can hope for at this point is that the book Del James was preparing in the early nineties along with the video Shattered Illusions will surface, but even then, many people would disregard it because it's Del James and he's clearly positioned himself on one side of the fence.

Write a sequel Marc! We'll all buy it!

I love the Reckless Road book. All the photos and set lists from the old GnR shows and pre-GnR shows are really awesome.

I just started Slash's Autobiography and it looks like it's going to be a great read.

Everybody have their own cup of tea.
So there is no book that can be regard as the only "best Guns N Roses book "

May be the best GNR book to read is the one that hasn't been written yet. So, that is depends..
