I personally really liked the UYI stage(if i'm not mistaken Slash said in his book that he designed it) but the 2002 and the 2006 ones didn't impress me. So what do you think are we in for a new stage production? A bigger ,more expensive one?

I'd like to see the new GN'R Logo On the floor....

Thoughts...

the illusions stage was sick. i dont think you can top that.

maybe if they make the whole stage into a wooden pirate ship. make the background screens into masts with sails, the raiser for the drummer could be like the upper deck, have a hatch under him, a wooden railing. make the front of the stage look like a wharf. lots of blue white lights. open with shacklers. bring back bucket.

gnr looks more like a shady pirate crew then a band nowadays, it will work, trust me.

i think an updated version of the UYI one would look sweet - ramps, pianos coming out of the floor.....

i'd like to see a lot of pyro, too. a walkway for axl would be cool too, so he could go like halfway through the pit if he wanted to. a rising drumset (kinda like slipknot does but without the spinning/going upside down n stuff) would be sick, too. the should have the CD cover on the sides on the stage (like with the UYI covers on that tour) and one big video screen instead of 3 split up ones.

Don't care much for the stage design. Just hope we get some big ass HD screens.

Well it sold 5 million copies in less than a year, so I'd say it made a ton of cash.

+ that not sold by best Buy but cashed in advance that even more

I hope for something cool, but they won't beat Rolling Stones ( that's the best stage show ever) or U2 shows ( I don't like spider thing but that huge heart around on last 2 shows was great )
Axl Rose is Guns N' Roses. Buy 'Contraband', 'Libertad' or listen to "When I Grow Up" for more information.

I hope they'll get some of the visual effects from the 2002 tour that wasn't there in 2006.
I remember the Matrix effect, that was neat.

that appears to be the same design at the Hamilton show but as another user pointed out the same stage layout on ticketmaster listed for east end concerts so this could be all it is may have nothing to do with GNR

here is the stage

sorry GNR for leaking this out to these guys :)
