Hope that they will change it.

isn't this different from last time? or are all Quebec city stages shaped like this?
'tis different. the last 2 tours didnt have those 3 walk out areas in the middle and the sides
Axl thanked me in his "Thank You" section of Chinese Democracy! suck on that!

the illusions stage was sick. i dont think you can top that.
maybe if they make the whole stage into a wooden pirate ship. make the background screens into masts with sails, the raiser for the drummer could be like the upper deck, have a hatch under him, a wooden railing. make the front of the stage look like a wharf. lots of blue white lights. open with shacklers. bring back bucket.
gnr looks more like a shady pirate crew then a band nowadays, it will work, trust me.

Sure it will be better this one is after the cd release
Gunsguy
Because CD made so much cash.
And I believe that Best Buy paid 13 or 14 million dollars for it.
And hopefully they won't do like U2. I just read a story that their tour this year has been struggling to break even because of how much money they are spending on the shows every night.

With 14 mill they could build their own stadium and play in it every night.

I thought that 14 mil was to pay back the studio bill and recoup the label's investment.
Anyway, GNR doesn't need all the monsters and pyro. Axl's got this incredible back catalog of music to draw from that will make people go insane far more than any explosions or video screens could.

This is what amazes me, everyone says he never showed up for rehearsals, bla bla bla. If someone put forth some effort, reached up 20 feet, and opened the door...
I hear the real story is Axl was pissed no one ever
found him at rehearsals.

The waveform of Chinese Democracy shows the true meaning of the song: 2 lightsabers...it's all about The Force. This shit beats spinning LP's backwards!!! Axl Rose welcomes YOU into the 21st century.....

I imagine a huge stage. With some kind of giant screens that covered it.
When welcome to the jungle started, it was blank, and wse could see was DJ shadow with his tophat and the guitar.
And then.... "DO YOU WHERE THE FUCK YOU ARE?!" and the screen starts to open and Axl is in the mid of it.
When the intro was over, there was an explosion and the screens would be totally opened, showing us the real stage.
The drum needs an up place, and behind if, a giant GNR logo, the new one.
That's how I imagine it.
A some sidewalks too.
