I know most of the songs you see here you have heard. If you have not they can all be found on Youtube. Anyway the idea of a unreleased material album has probably crossed almost every GNR fan's mind and even some of the band members. Let's say there would be no legal issues in making this album (which I know there are) and every GNR member supports (which probably is not true). This album would be great. It would remind people how great GNR were by releasing great songs which the band canned for other great songs! Cornshucker always cracks me up. Crash Diet imo should have been released with someone subbing for the drum machine . Also I know some people may not like atleast one or two of the songs on here but alot of the GNR hardcores would love it if they were released
and boy do we deserve it. I know that there is atleast a few unheard songs that are sitting in Axl's closet

that are really great, and to pick
just one would be simple.
Here's the list of songs that would make it on to the album-
1. Crash Diet
2. Just Another Sunday
3. Ain't Goin' Down
4. Bring It Back Home
5. Jumpin Jack Flash
6. Cornshucker
7. Too Much Too Soon
8. Sentimental Movie
9.(Never heard before song)

I'd love for Axl to take a page from Bruce Springsteen who released his "Tracks" boxset of songs he wrote throughout the years that missed out on making his studio albums. There are some real gems on that boxset and I think it'd be great if Axl did something similar

Could just re-release CD as a double album?

Horrible idea, your living in the past. Sentimental Movie may be the worst thing i've ever heard.

Well.. "
You Could be Mine" didn't make it on Appetite For Destruction, nor on LIES, then it was a hit later on You Your illusion II album.
If a song doesn't make it on an album, it does not mean it's a bad song.
Back on topic, the thread starter's choice if songs is a good start (most of them come from the
Unwanted Illusions unofficial album), other cool unreleased material could be added to it. A remastered
Shadow of Your Love would also be cool.
GNR releasing an official unreleased material album, even if it were only be available for purchase in the iTunes store, seems to me like a great idea.

i think it would have to consist of mostly CD recording sessions, coz the other stuff has been available for years.....

There's a "Studio mix" version on the
Live & Let Die CD single.

I would love to hear a proper version of Nightcrawler.
Also, hearing any of the songs that they wrote between '93 and '96 would be killer as well, but I doubt that would ever happen.
