[All you have to do is use your ears, anyone who doesnt think the leaks were final products is naive.
Those are not demos eventhough we call them demos. The 99 versions of IRS and TWAT are demos, but not the 2006 leaks.
Those easily could have been mastered and released in album form and would have sounded better.
And you said it yourself, the vocals are from 2002, that is the last thing you do for an album, so in 2002 CD was done.
WE got those cuts and they were fine, but Axl decided to add Fortus, Frank and BBF to the tracks plus tons of more pitman.
That just made the album not flow as well and the songs suffered.

I agree with this.
If some of these things are demos, they are the best sounding and most expensive demos of alltime. Come on, people. How much did 'Better' really change?
From what I can see and have heard, this album could have come out in 2004. It might have sounded a bit more organic...and, guys like Bucket and Robin might still be in the fold. It might be more of a band right now.
Its pretty hard to try and rationalize what was added from about 2003 on that was not, in large part, already done. We are talking almost 5 year of wasting time for no reason.
The people that think the leaks were demo's are morons.
They were finshed years ago.
Just look at riyadh, the only thing that changed was they took out BHs solo which was a better fit and added in that shitty ron solo.
The blues they actually took OUT parts, and TWAT is almost the same but a few riffs from Ron.
Those blogger leaks, Skewl even said it was the finished album cuts and they were until axl decided to tinker more.
People on these boards are so delusional. The fact is if BH and Brain never quit, those leaks were got would have been mastered and would have been CD not the crappier cuts we got where Axl added Ron and Frank.
