Its a must for a band as big as GnR to have huge ego's - they had them.
They fell apart and moved on.

Axl Cancelled the Portland Maine show at the very last minute because the show didn't sell out.. A little over 3000 tickets sold, the venue holds over 6000. The band is playing it off as the Fire Inspector wouldn't let them use all the pyro they wanted so they didn't want to put on a half ass performance. Close members of the GNR crew working that night said it was because of the ticket sales. I was a faithful fan since I saw the Welcome to the jungle video when I was in the 4th grade its now almost 17 years later, I feel really let down!!

Sources my friend, sources. We have credible sources (sanctuary) saying that the show was cancelled due to "limitations imposed by local fire marshals". There is nothing but rumores that say otherwise, such as the one you have listed. "close mebers of the GNR crew" would likely have no more idea about why the show was cancelled than we do, only RUMORES. Thats how rumores start and this is how they spread.
