seriously.. its not like its hard to download a program and install it. Thats all you have to do to play .flac files and they sound better.

Not only do they sound better, but why would you want something that is technically an inferior product?

I have a high end stereo system in my house and my car, and the difference is obvious for me, especially with a bootleg.

Even on the computer, I can tell the difference between FLAC and MP3 in a heartbeat. Anyone who says they can't, I just don't understand how.

I mean, you are starting with a bootleg, which is obviously going to be lower quality than a soundboard. Why would anyone in their right mind want to LOWER the quality EVEN MORE than it already is?

It just doesn't make sense.

Hey thanks a lot for this, and i dont understand why this guy doesnt want this in mp3. I love flac n all, but to have this on your ipod is great. Yes there is a huge difference, but if there is a choice, then let people choose. You shouldn't have to 'force your beliefs' on others, so to speak.

its not 'forcing beliefs' as you suggest. You have the right to convert the files into mp3 for your own personal use. The taper simply wants his shows that he is circulating between traders to maintain the original integrity of his recordings. Basically he doesn't want shitty copies of this floating around everywhere.
